Before meetings
When preparing for a meeting I consider three things:
- What’s at stake? Key concept that captures the heart of the meeting. Stake is something that can be referred to when asking why the team is having the meeting at all.
- What outcome do I want? The results and accomplishment that you would like to see from the meeting
- What impact do I want to have? What I want team members to gain from the meeting. Or how I want them to feel while they are engaged in it and afterwards.
